 Open Postdoctoral Positions for 2019

The China Securities Regulatory Commission (CSRC) established its Postdoctoral Research Station (“Station”) in 2008 to enable talented researchers to advance our knowledge on the long-term, forward-looking, holistic, and cyclic issues in the capital market. The Station is committed to promoting the sustainable development of China’s capital market; analyzing major and topical economic and financial issues – both domestic and international – as well as the theoretical and practical questions in building the capital market system; and synthesizing research reports and policy recommendations on the longer-term plans for, and the regulatory strengthening of, the capital market. The Station aims to leverage its strong support for the postdoctoral program to build a more prosperous China and cultivate outstanding capital market researchers.

The China Institute of Finance and Capital Markets (CIFCM), the policy research arm of the CSRC, is responsible for the day-to-day management of the Station. Positioned as a decision-making support center, strategic think tank, and theoretical research institute, CIFCM organizes studies on the long-term, forward-looking, holistic, and cyclic issues in the capital market.

In the 7 years since 2012, 60 postdoctoral fellows have completed their program at the Station. In July 2017, the Station was approved by the National Postdoctoral Administration Committee to independently admit postdoctoral fellows.

To further the understanding of major economic, financial, and capital market topics; strengthen market supervision; and expand the pool of young, pioneering academics and researchers for the capital market, the Station is now openly seeking domestic and foreign postdoctoral researchers for 2019.
