     China Institute of Finance and Capital Markets (CIFCM) is a policy research institution affiliated with the China Securities Regulatory Commission (CSRC). It is positioned as a decision support center, strategic think tank, and theoretical academic base, responsible for long-term, forward-looking, and fundamental research of the capital market. CIFCM consists of 3 administrative departments and 7 research departments, including Macroeconomic Research Department, Corporate Finance Research Department, Financial Market Research Department, Capital Market Law Center, Futures and Derivatives Research Department, Institutions and Behavioral Finance Research Department, and International Finance Research Department.

   The Institute is committed to cultivating a team of experts specialized in economics, finance and capital markets, and has attract eda group of outstanding talents from China and abroad. In recent years, the Institute has carried out productive research centered on China and global macro, financial sector development, capital market reforms and structural issues, listed company supervision and market stakeholder behavior, and capital market legal framework. Our team has produced a great deal of high-quality research well recognized by key policy makers, as well as top peer-reviewed journals.

    The office of the Institute is located at Jinyang Mansion, Financial Street, Xicheng District of Beijing. We provide friendly office environment and facilities, competitive package, as well as exposure to China’s capital market and policies. Based on our needs, there will be 16 openings of research and administrative positions for domestic and overseas applicants.

      I. Basic requirements

      1. Citizens of the People's Republic of China;

      2. Support the leadership and authority of China and the Chinese socialist system;

      3. Compliance with laws and regulations, with integrity, good conduct, and no criminal record;

      4. Having met the job requirement;

      5. To apply for positions for fresh graduates, applicants should graduate no later than July 31, 2021, and obtain a graduation certificate, degree certificate, and employment registration certificate (the 2020 domestic graduates currently unemployed and are retained as fresh graduates can also apply). Overseas students should graduate between January 1, 2020 and September 30, 2021, and obtain an academic certificate and a foreign academic degree certificate issued by the Chinese Service Center for Scholarly Exchange of Ministry of Education of the People’s Republic of China;

      6. No employment or market ban by the China Securities Regulatory Commission and the China Institute of Finance and Capital Markets;

      7. In principle, age requirements for each level of positions are: Research Fellow positions no more than 45 years old, Associate Research Fellow no more than 40 years old, and Assistant Research Fellow, Senior Research Assistant and Administrative Officer no more than 35 years old.

 

      II. Available Positions and Qualifications

      (1) Macroeconomics and International Finance Research Post (5)

      Responsibilities:

      1. Research of China macro and global macro, domestic and global markets, and relevant policies; propose policy recommendations, and produce analysis reports;

      2. Research on major issues in the economic and financial fields in China and abroad, and analyze the relationship between macroeconomics and capital markets;

      3. Track the economic and financial conditions of countries and regions including but not limited to the United States, Europe, Japan and emerging markets; produce relevant research reports;

      4. Carry out research work in the fields of international trade and international regulatory rules, and write relevant research reports.

      Qualifications:

      1. Research Fellow

      (1) Major in economics, finance, international trade, etc., graduated from world-renowned universities with a master's degree and 10 years of work experience or a doctoral degree with 7 years of work experience;

      (2) Research experience in international organizations and global financial institutions preferred;

      (3) Publication of articles and/or academic papers in top Chinese and/or international journals;

      (4) Experience in economic modeling, econometric analysis or policy research, with influence in related fields.

      2. Associate Research Fellow

      (1) Major in economics, finance, international trade, etc., graduated from well-known universities worldwide, a master's degree with 6 years of work experience or a doctoral degree with 3 years of work experience;

      (2) Overseas experience and related institutional experience are preferred;

      (3) Relevant experience in modeling, econometric analysis, international comparative analysis, etc., and in-depth research experience in macroeconomics as well as international economics and finance;

      (4) Familiarity with international economic and financial frameworks, models and indicators, international trade and international regulatory rules.

      3. Assistant Research Fellow

      (1) Major in economics, finance, international trade, etc., graduated from well-known universities worldwide, a master's degree with4 years of work experience or a doctoral degree with1 year of work experience;

      (2) Overseas experience and related institution experience preferred;

      (3) Relevant experience in modeling, econometric analysis, international comparative analysis, etc.;

      (4) Knowledge of international economic and financial frameworks, models and indicators, international trade and international regulatory rules.

 

      (II) Market, Institution, and Corporate Finance Research Post (4)

      Responsibilities:

      1. Follow-up research on domestic and foreign financial institutions, listed companies, and multinational companies, research and make suggestions on their development, supervision, reform, and institutional mechanisms;

      2. Analyze and evaluate the impact of financial and regulatory policies on capital markets, financial institutions, listed companies and other entities;

      3. Analyze issues related to corporate mergers and acquisitions, restructuring, financing and implementation of registration systems, taxation, accounting, and laws.

      Qualifications:

      1. Associate Research Fellow

      (1) Major in accounting, law, finance, economics, computer, etc., graduated from well-known universities worldwide, a master's degree with 6 years of work experience or a doctoral degree with 3 years of work experience;

      (2) Inter-disciplinary majors, overseas experience, market experience, strong empirical ability, and experienced in quantitative research preferred;

      (3) Possession of solid theoretical foundation and research experience in related disciplines.

      2. Assistant Research Fellow

      (1) Major in accounting, law, finance, economics, computer, etc., graduated from well-known universities worldwide, a master's degree with4 years of work experience or a doctoral degree with1 year of work experience;

      (2) Inter-disciplinary majors, overseas experience, market experience, strong empirical ability and experienced in quantitative research preferred;

      (3) Solid theoretical foundation and research experience in related disciplines.

 

      (III) Capital Market Legal Research Post (2)

      Responsibilities:

      1. Research on fundamental, forward-looking and major legal issues of the capital market;

      2. Research on legal issues of capital market supervision system and law enforcement standards and procedures;

      3. Research on legal issues of capital markets opening-up and internationalization.

      Qualifications:

      1. Associate Research Fellow

      (1) Major in business law, economic law, international economic law, etc., graduated from renowned law schools worldwide, a master's degree with 6 years of work experience or a doctoral degree with 3 years of work experience;

      (2) Overseas experience or experience in global research institutions preferred;

      (3) In-depth research on the legal systems of domestic and foreign securities and futures markets.

      2. Senior Research Associate

      (1) Major in business law, economic law, international economic law, etc., graduated from well-known law schools worldwide, and graduated with a doctoral degree or a master's degree with 1 year of work experience;

      (2) Overseas experience or experience in global research institutions preferred;

      (3) Familiarity with the legal system of domestic and foreign securities and futures markets.

 

      (IV) Futures and Derivatives Research Post (3)

      Responsibilities:

      1. Analyzing the operation of key commodities, precious metals and financial futures, market price fluctuations and trends, and write related variety strategy research reports;

      2. Research on the reform and development of the futures market and futures business institutions and regulatory policies;

      3. Tracking of the innovation and development of domestic and foreign financial derivatives markets.

      Qualifications:

      1. Associate Research Fellow

      (1) Major in economics management, finance, industrial economics, etc., graduated from renowned universities worldwide master's degree with 6 years of work experience or a doctoral degree with3 years of work experience;

      (2) Inter-disciplinary majors, overseas experience, and experience in global institutions preferred;

      (3) In-depth research on the futures market research framework, data processing analysis, product pricing methods, and independent variety analysis and special research.

      2. Assistant Research Fellow

      (1) Major in economics management, finance, industrial economics, etc., graduated from renowned universities at home and abroad, a master's degree with4 years of work experience or a doctoral degree with1 year of work experience;

      (2) Overseas experience or experience in global institutions preferred;

      (3) Familiarity with the futures market research framework, data processing analysis, product pricing methods, and can assist in variety analysis and special research.

      3. Senior Research Associate

      (1) Major in economics management, finance, industrial economics, etc., graduated from renowned universities worldwide, and graduated with a doctoral degree or a master's degree with 1 year of work experience;

      (2) Overseas experience or experience in global research institutions preferred;

      (3) Knowledge of the futures market framework, data processing analysis, and product pricing methods, able to assist in the collection of research materials.

 

      (V) Administrative Post (2)

      1. Confidential Management Officer

      Responsibilities:

      (1)Participation in the management of confidential documents, including document review, circulation, inspection and supervision;

      (2)Participation in file management, including file collection, sorting, filing and preservation;

      (3) Responsibility in seal management;

      (4) Safety management and guarantee work;

      (5) Other administrative tasks assigned by leaders.

      Qualifications:

      (1) Member of the Communist Party of China, major in administrative management, archives, information management, etc., graduated from renowned universities worldwide, and graduated with a master's degree or a bachelor's degree with more than 3 years of work experience;

      (2) Strong professional ability;

      (3)Ability to work under stress, good professional ethics and awareness of confidentiality.

      2. Administrative Liaison Officer

      Responsibilities:

      (1) Participation in the drafting of comprehensive manuscripts, including drafting and formulating office-related systems, and undertake drafting work summaries, plans and other manuscript work;

      (2) Responsibility in public opinion work, participate in the management of "two networks and one WeChat", and do a good job in public opinion monitoring, news networks and other media information release work;

      (3) Responsibility external affairs and liaison work;

      (4) Other administrative tasks assigned.

      Qualifications:

      (1) Member of the Communist Party of China, major in journalism, literature, philosophy, computer, etc., graduated from renowned universities worldwide, and graduated with a master's degree or a bachelor's degree with more than 3 years of work experience;

      (2) Strong professional ability;

      (3)Ability to work under stress, good professional ethics and awareness of confidentiality.

 

      III. Recruitment Process

      The recruitment will follow procedures including resume delivery, resume screening, written examination, interview, background investigation and political review, physical examination, and recruitment.

      (1) Resume delivery. Our Institute entrusts professional recruitment providers to release recruitment information, and applicants are invited to click the following link:Apply Now to submit their resumes. The deadline for registration is 24:00 on November 18, 2020(Wednesday).

      (2) Resume screening. After the completion of the resume delivery, resumes are screened according to job responsibilities and requirements. Applicants will be notified by email or phone.

      (3) Written examination. Examination is conducted online or offline according to the actual situation, and the test content of the examination are professional ability and psychological quality.

      (4) Interview. Comprehensively assess the candidates’ educational background, professional knowledge, adaptability, knowledge of the corresponding positions, etc. Qualification review will be conducted before the interview, and mainly review the applicant’s ID and academic degree certificate (overseas students must have academic certification issued by the relevant department of the Ministry of Education). Those who do not bring relevant materials or fail the qualification review will be disqualified.

      (5) Background check. Conduct background check of those who pass the interview, and those who do not meet the requirements of the position and job will not be hired.

      (6) Physical examination. Arrange an entry medical examination for those who have passed the background check.

      (7) Recruitment. The Institute will send an employment notice to all the finalists. The finalists need to go through the registration procedures at the specified time. Those who fail to meet the timeline will be disqualified.

 

      IV. Precautions
